2 taken to hospital after colliding with Daly City police car while riding e-bike, authorities say

DALY CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after colliding with a Daly City police car Monday afternoon while riding an e-bike, according to authorities.

Police say the accident happened just before 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Velasco Avenue and Accaia Street.

The 18-year-old and 19-year-old who were riding the e-bike were taken to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
